You touch on something that's pervasive in our industry; the further your path, the more limited the opportunities become. That's the problem with the structure you find at most of the older companies in our space. They narrow as they get to the top. I can tell you from my own path from leasing to People and Culture has had many turns and corners along the way. Like many others here, I found though that at Cardinal, our structure and our breadth of companies present quite a few opportunities to finally find a role where you can truly bring your whole true self to work each day. The trick here is that we have to deprogram ourselves in thinking that a corporate role is the pinnacle of all roles. The trick is to pursue growth and knowledge in a way that speaks to who you are and what you can bring to others. Enter our Talent Advisors. Let's get you paired up with the team so we can explore what role is going to bring you the most satisfaction, then work together to get you there. Ping us at Recruiting@Cardinalgroup.com

Pros

I love working here. I feel lucky that I am able to work on projects I love and work with people who encourage me.

Cons

Sometimes change comes in waves- big rollouts all at once feel overwhelming but I understand that happens sometimes!

Pros

- Room for growth and promotions - Job security - Most of your coworkers are easy to work with

Cons

- Work life balance: depends on who your white label is and if you work strictly for cardinal they have a better work life balance. - Turnover rate in corporate - Learn as you go / 0 training in every role unless if you have a good manager - CYA mentality - High expectations / sometimes unrealistic goals - When corporate comes into town they are never hands on due to having too many meetings in a day
