Pros

I've worked for four student housing companies in the last 10 years and Cardinal remains my #1. I've worked at Cardinal for 3.5 years so far and have gotten 2 promotions and a lot of learning experiences during my time. The ELT of this company truly does care about its team members all the way down to our onsite teams and takes team member feedback to make change. Cardinal truly embraces it's people-first mentality and the culture is unmatched to any another company I have worked for.

Cons

With the rapid growth Cardinal has seen in the last couple of years, there was a time period of many, many initiatives and platforms rolled out at once making it difficult for team members to fully understand and utilize each platform. This continues to be an area of opportunity to create a more positive work experience.

You really do a great job of speaking to the lightning pace the industry as a whole is operating at. With new needs come new softwares and often times it's completely overwhelming. Regardless, it's refreshing to see that amidst all of that, you are being heard and seen. That goes a long way in helping others to see what it's like to be both at Cardinal and in multifamily. Here's hoping we earn that 5th star from you.

I love working here. I feel lucky that I am able to work on projects I love and work with people who encourage me.

Cons

Sometimes change comes in waves- big rollouts all at once feel overwhelming but I understand that happens sometimes!

Pros

- Room for growth and promotions - Job security - Most of your coworkers are easy to work with

Cons

- Work life balance: depends on who your white label is and if you work strictly for cardinal they have a better work life balance. - Turnover rate in corporate - Learn as you go / 0 training in every role unless if you have a good manager - CYA mentality - High expectations / sometimes unrealistic goals - When corporate comes into town they are never hands on due to having too many meetings in a day
