Pros

Lunch, snacks and drinks provided to people onsite. People at manager and below are helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.

Cons

Where to begin? You'll be dumped with so much work you'll either: Work late, start early the next day to catch up, cut corners or try to pass it to someone else who's in the same situation as you. Your boss will be so out-of-touch that you'll be gaslit for not doing a task in an hour when in reality that task takes 3 hours then more things will get dumped on you while you get chided. Kiss your work/life balance goodbye. The processes that you will be trained on are so redundant and repetitive. Enter this into the system, then go into another system and input the same data, after that, login to yet another system and input the same data, then hand-write it on a logbook. If you suggest a different method it's "The CareDX way to do things" so nothing changes.

Pros

Great flexibility, high autonomy, and an excellent total compensation package. Working here offers an amazing balance of independence, career growth, and strong financial perks. Management genuinely listens to feedback and is highly receptive to employee suggestions for improving operational efficiencies. You have a unique opportunity to leverage your past experience to actively shape your role, and the room for advancement is substantial. The remote work structure is highly accommodating across all U.S. time zones, most roles allow you to set your own flexible start and end times around core Pacific Standard Time (PST) business hours. On top of that, the total rewards package is excellent, including 401(k) matching, annual merit increases, both quarterly and annual bonuses, and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). They also take great care of remote employees by providing monthly allowances for internet, phone, and gym memberships.

Cons

Fast-paced environment: The high growth and freedom mean you must be a self-starter who handles ambiguity well. PST alignment required: East Coast employees must adjust schedules slightly to overlap with core PST office hours. Cross-timezone coordination: Managing meetings across multiple U.S. time zones requires deliberate planning and effort. Rapidly evolving roles: Because you can shape your role, processes change quickly and require strong adaptability.

Pros

Lots of autonomy in position. Depending on the RD, most Regional Directors are supportive and not micromanaging.

Cons

For the sales force, CareDx is "penalize for performance" not "pay for performance." Quotas are adjusted harshly each quarter. There is, and has historically been, a very high turnover rate of the Transplant Account Manager (TAM) role at CareDx. This company loses 3-4 strong performing TAM's every 6 months, which is 10% of their sales force, constantly turning over. This company loses top performers because they are not compensated well, they are not losing the bottom performers. Customer accounts have noticed and are aggravated, "Who is our Account Manager now?"
