Pros

I liked the salary and benefits the best.

Cons

Managers could not manage their way out of a wet paper bag - even when you gave them directions. Probably because they don't know what they are doing and for the most part, refuse to listen. For CareFirst it is all about the process and not about the people. Which is like taking the playbook for last years super bowl champs and giving it to the local high school team and expecting the high schoolers to win next years super bowl. It doesn't make sense - it doesn't work and so management does the next wrong thing and doubles down on their bad management philosophy.

Pros

I have a supportive team, my leadership encourages work-life balance, the company culture is very pleasing to me, plenty of leadership presence and transparency about company happenings, and the employee benefits are phenomenal.

Cons

I genuinely don't have anything negative to say at this moment.

Pros

Ability to work from home.

Cons

Extremely low salary for 2026. Far too much work to stay afloat. Everyone is on PTO constantly which makes training/help almost impossible. Tenured employees are unavailable majority of the time and leave unfinished work on your plate to deal with.
