Pros
Great ideas by corporate, emphasis on speaking about safety, diversified products, lots of job opportunities, at some locations workers seem to care, many locations (each has their own culture), lots of training available, each person responsible for their own career, people generally want to do the right thing (but not always enabled)
Cons
Say one thing and do another, talk about with life balance but don't show it in plants, management at plant level doesn't align with corporate statements, lack of accountability, high workload with little reward, not an enjoyable place to work, have to document everything and feel like you need to watch your back, each place is so different, lack of respect is accepted, noticable difference in how salary are treated vs hourly, people are advanced to get them out of a position rather than because they are trained and worthy, lack of integrity by site middle management, lack of training for hourly staff to effectively complete job
