The corporate culture is brutally toxic and operates exactly like a high school lunch table—whoever is the loudest or the manager's favorite gets rewarded, while actual performance metrics are ignored. Top performers (even those in the top 5% of sales) are regularly targeted if they do not play the political game.
Middle management is allowed to operate completely unchecked. There is a pattern of managers fabricating elaborate, false narratives about employees—including manipulating the perception of approved expense reports and territory mileage—to force them out. HR acts entirely as a shield for these toxic managers rather than an impartial department. They blindly accept management's narratives without conducting fair investigations or listening to the accused. Furthermore, management actively stalks and monitors employees' personal social media accounts, even when those employees are out on approved medical leave, and HR explicitly defends this invasion of privacy as acceptable.
