Pros
This was a fun job...at first. I had a blast working as a Team Member and within less than a year I had been promoted to Shift Supervisor. There was a great team in place and that made work that much better. We also had some of the greatest customers around.
Cons
After being with the company for about 2 years things started to turn. My manager was essentially grooming me to be the Assistant Manager but refused to give me the title or the compensation. Also, my manager loved playing favorites. It didn't matter that I had been there the longest or that I worked my butt off. Others were being promoted ahead of me. I decided to grin and bear it until the new compensation plan came into place. All of a sudden it was impossible for two supervisors to work together unless one was willing to take a pay cut during that shift. Way to motivate your employees Caribou.
