Cons
Senior Management in IT is seriously lacking in focus and direction which ultimately affects the care we deliver to patients. Communication is non-existent between Senior Mgmt and employees causing chaos, project errors/delays, frustration. Long standing practice of not replacing positions as they are depleted, yet recently a great number of management positions were created and filled using current employees, thus depleting more employee staff. Announced those positions will not be back-filled. Numerous employees have left to seek other positions or opt for early retirement due to current chaos from Sr. Leadership. Very few of these positions have been re-filled and several will not be. Wasting of money on unnecessary "renovations"that could be used more wisely (Expensive unnecessary atrium blinds, rumored costly CIO office renovation) Recent lack of appreciation from Senior Management which used to be very present but is no longer apparent Do not have appropriate/updated equipment to effectively perform job duties - i.e., very old laptops
