Not many other options in the area and it's something to pay the bills. Lots of OT. They offer a pretty decent 401k match.
Cons
Great place to work if you don't have hobbies and don't want to spend time at home. Weekly shift rotation and lots of mandated weekends. They have until Thursday afternoon to change your schedule for the coming week which is kinda crazy. They hardly offer any certs. The company views their union workforce like an adversary instead of a partner. Carmeuse Cedarville has been chipping away at benefits and setting very high production goals annually which causes workers to sacrifice their personal time; without offering any sort of profit sharing bonuses to reward those who actually achieve those goals for the company.
