The best part of working for Carnegie Learning is that the company is laser-focused on their mission, which is to provide the highest quality math education possible. Because the company is mission-focused, that means you get to work with some of the brightest and most motivated experts in the field.
Cons
The downside of working at Carnegie Learning is that it is a small business, and its business is largely contingent on winning state adoptions. If you're not familiar, a state must approve a math curriculum before it can be sold in that state. That doesn't mean if you don't win an adoption, then you are not permitted to do business in that state. Another downside is that Carnegie Learning has yet to break through to become a major player in the math curriculum market. Since their inception, they have always owned less than 10% of the market. That makes it difficult because the budget is very limited.
