"Culture" only available for a few. - Manager of School Partnerships Carnegie Learning Employee Review

Pros

Initially, things may go smoothly in the Services vertical. Pay is competitive.

Cons

Management in the Services vertical is inept from the top down and has no prior management experience. They are promoted from within based on compliance to senior management. The company claims a positive culture, but, in reality, the culture revolves around gossip and a general fear of exclusion from "the in-crowd." Demands on travel are too high to maintain over time.

Pros

The people I worked with were honestly great. Some of the products are genuinely good, which drives authentic belief in the company's mission. Benefits were okay.

Cons

There's a dangerous lack of imagination in leadership, who were seemingly caught unprepared for the end of ESSER funding and the market downturn in 2025. Multiple rounds of layoffs have demoralized staff and led to a lot of uncertainty, which is unlikely to improve.
