Pros
I worked for Carr Hardware while I was in college at MCLA. While I would have loved to continue working there, my degree offered me an opportunity in Boston. If you're looking for a company to work for in the Berkshires, I would recommend Carr Hardware. From the owners all the way down, Carr offers the epitome of a team environment. At no time do you feel like you are a just a body, but a valued member of the company.
Cons
I can't say that I have any cons. From a business person perspective, their early hours may inhibit sales volume. However, many of their employees have families and this enables them to be home for dinner.
