Pros
There are good people throughout the organization, and I had the opportunity to work with many talented coworkers over the years. The benefits and overall compensation were competitive, and I gained valuable industry experience.
Cons
Despite years of dedication and strong performance, I ultimately felt that loyalty was not valued. I was laid off under the explanation of declining sales, but based on my experience, I did not believe that fully reflected the circumstances surrounding my departure. The lack of transparency and communication during the process was disappointing and left me questioning how employment decisions are made.
There were times when personal relationships and internal politics appeared to carry more weight than experience, performance, or long-term commitment. That created an environment where it was difficult to feel secure, regardless of your contributions.
