Pros
Commitment to caring for patients and health in the community. Transparency is actually pretty good, but only some of the time, when the President holds quarterly conferences with all staff members (the hospital newsletter does have info about other departments and groups, but not the organizational whole).
Cons
Seems to be a massive breakdown between staffing Needs and management Wants which does put many patients at risk too often. "Treat everyone from CEO to the janitor with the same respect" doesn't apply here: doctors can be as admonishing and scornful and disrespectful as often as they want towards staff and get away with it. Doctors should never be treated like royalty, anywhere, period! We all work here together, we should all be treated equally together.
