Pros
- Great vision and mission... everything is wrapped around the idea of building high-performance governments - Really talented people to work alongside - Intelligent, thoughtful, and down-to-earth leadership that I actually like and respect - Company is consistently growing and is in a competitive space in the national market - I actually feel like I'm a part of something bigger that is making the world a better place - Flexible working hours and locations - Great benefits - Relative to Dubuque, it's a really fun and progressive work culture - There's occassionally a few late nights, but for the most part, I have no issue having a life outside of work - I feel like I've been given the tools to succeed (was given a nice laptop when I started and will probably get a new one in the next year or two)
Cons
- Challenging atmosphere... I'm pretty much always busy and occasionally start getting a little burnt out - Long sales cycles - Dubuque is a great city to live in, but we're located a few miles out of the city, so it's not very quick to get to good lunch places or other businesses. But at least parking isn't an issue! - Our CEO, Jake, resigned recently, which sucks because he was a great guy and a solid leader
