Pros
Developing people to next, personal career growth, certain leaders within the brand.
Cons
Change is good unless it does not have proper planning. Carter's is a continuously changing atmosphere, as it should be, but in their efforts to keep up with business trends, the millennial mom, and technologies the company has rolled out many "best practices", hardware, and policies that are not right for the business. Also EXTREME lack of payroll for what is expected. Like most companies, Carter's says they go after "A Talent", but will not pay for that talent. Ex an internal promote is looking at a max increase of 10%, with annual increases around 1%. They have also changed the bonus structure to make people think they have a better chance of getting bonus, but have cut the amount of money they award. Certain leaders in the area/region are allowed by their peers to have free reign on how they execute their job responsibilities, even if that means using fear as a tactic.
