Pros
-Alright pay. They pay a little higher than minimum wage but they could maybe add a little more. -If you have great managers they are willing to work with you (especially if they like you as a favorite) -Its a pretty low-key/casual job. You don't have to come in dressed up (even though dress code is business casual). You can come in with jeans and a t-shirt and be fine. -Meeting people all over the world. -Working with children. -ALWAYS get extra hours if you have a closing shift. If the mall closes at 11 you'll be there till 1-2am. If the mall closes at 9 you'll end up being there till maybe 12-1am.
Cons
-Was promised a raise but never got one even though I worked there about a year and a half. -NO TRAINING. My first day was completely unexpected. They told me to come in for paperwork and then threw me onto the sales for for 5 hours before they told me to go home. Horrible. Training was 15 minutes of reading their Carter's pamphlet. -There was a Carter's curse where I worked. Everyone who worked at the store would end up pregnant by the time of the end of their employment (I totally mean it). I never thought I would get pregnant and then I did...after working there. Smh. -Super high turnover rate! They would hire 20 people every few months and only 2 would stay out of the bunch.
