Pros

Employee discount, that’s about it.

Cons

Store manager is condescending, and all the managers gossip. You can’t tell one person something without everyone else being told afterward, so building trust is a challenge/nearly impossible. They also make it difficult to complain about any employee (manager or sales associate), they don’t leave complaints anonymous or do much to rectify the issue. Poor communication between management and associates, and training employees needs to be more thorough and hands-on rather than a quick instruction or video training. Management claims to be flexible with scheduling but will complain and even try to guilt trip you into an availability that accommodates them. They’ll also try to make you come in if you’re calling out for any personal reason (illness, childcare, etc) They give the idea they’re accommodating and flexible, but unless you have open or no changes in availability, no childcare issues and no social life, you won’t be a good fit. Having a second job is also nearly impossible with them because this store wants to be the priority, even if your second job gives more hours. I’m guessing everything above is primarily why they hire teenagers and have a high turnover rate. And the company overall needs to stop pressuring employees to get new credit card signups from customers, while it’s great for them when they get a new card member, they don’t realize not every customer wants a credit card; management tends to view this as an employee’s failure rather than a customer’s decision.
