Pros

Castlight as a company truly values employees and earnestly lives by the values they instill in us. Benefits and compensation are competitive with the technology sector, which is to say generous. There is plenty of opportunity for career development, taking on projects outside of our day-to-day responsibilities. Most importantly, I've never worked with such an impressive collection of people, and am regularly delighted and impressed by the expertise and genuine concern of those I spend my weekday daytimes with.

Cons

US healthcare has no shortage of problems that we're tackling. Sometimes, this can feel overwhelming. I regularly find myself working outside of normal business hours, but to be fair, and no one is monitoring us to ensure we're at our desks M–F 9–5. What I mean is that we've all got a job to do, and we're evaluated on the output of our work rather than where and when we actually do the work.

Pros

Castlight Health is a brand under apree health, not a company anymore. The CEO is not Maeve O'Maera, This page is misleading. Castlight and Vera Whole Health merged to form apree health but are still operating under their brand name.

Cons

Executive leadership is toxic and has completely destroyed the company drove out the leadership that actually deserved to be there. Private equity company took over and are just gutting the company to sell and make a dime. THIS is one of many things that are ruining healthcare.
