Pros
1) Castlight is truly leading the market in improving health care for patients. The company is incredibly mission-oriented 2) Castlight continues to be an interesting balance between startup energy (lots of growth coming, lots of new product and business opportunities) with being very stable and well-funded with a solid customer base 3) It has hands down the smartest team I've worked with (and that includes working for Microsoft, McKinsey, Deloitte and other companies) 4) Great improvements in comp: we have just moved to annual performance-based stock packages (with no cliff!) to make sure our high performers get the benefit of a rapidly-increasing strike price
Cons
Castlight is not the place to come if you're really looking for a job at a pure consumer company. We are an enterprise company, which is a different experience. I think the folks who have not been as successful at Castlight or as excited once they came here are the people who really thought they were going to work for a consumer company.
