Pros

Worked in Critical Care. They are super supportive and encouraging about furthering education and becoming certified once eligible.

Cons

Census in their CCU stays consistently low, the CCU nurses tend to float to other units almost weekly and the call off is frequent, they will call you in at 0500 after being on call all night to float to another unit. Seems pretty unfair.

Nice that hospital is not part of one of the massive health systems in NC. Feels a bit more old fashioned as a result. However the system is definitely seeking to grow within its current region.

Cons

Leadership is a clique. Directors are moved and oversee areas with 0 clinical experience in the areas they are leading.
