Privately owned for 60 years. Family atmosphere. Yearly Christmas gathering. Follow AWHONN staffing guidelines. Our patients are our first priority. Excellent healthcare, every person. Every time. Benefits are above par.

Cons

Because not owned by a corporation the pay is a little less. New grad nurses make about as much as a seasoned/experienced nurse. No profit sharing. PTO is less than other facilities and caps out at 15 years.

Nice that hospital is not part of one of the massive health systems in NC. Feels a bit more old fashioned as a result. However the system is definitely seeking to grow within its current region.

Cons

Leadership is a clique. Directors are moved and oversee areas with 0 clinical experience in the areas they are leading.
