Pros

1. good salary and salary related benefits. 2. very good work, technically we will become better. 3. Cat Inc is having good vision and taking correct direction.

Cons

1. Too much work load (Because you paid higher).you are expected to stay very late. 2. Maintaining the work life balance is very difficult. 3. Too much work pressure, and stress. 4. point 1 and 3 will severely impact your health.I am seeing lot of youngsters developing different health issues. 5. You are expected to take many other additional responsibilities apart from your main responsibility to get any kind of growth. 6. The india (electronics) management dominated by particular caste, if you are of that caste then you will really get a fast track growth inside. 7. The entire division is dominated by employees from particular neighbour state, they form a group and create lot of gossips. 8. Persons coming from Premier institutes (IIT PSG), are valued, treated and cared much by the management. Not the same case with others. 9. Even though they talk about safety, they very less concerned about the employee safety. 10. Not much of other benefits Food, transport (because you are already paid higher). There is nothing else inside the company (recreation , relaxation room, library etc) to take time off from your hectic schedule.

Pros

Good health insurance and benefits, good yearly bonuses. The pay is good.

Cons

They are enforcing returning to office by any means necessary. They have lost many high-quality producers who have refused to relocate or refuse to come in. Here's the kicker - they are requiring in-person attendance at the Chicago office and there aren't even enough desks for everyone. It would be a literal fire hazard if we all came into the Chicago office at the same time, M-F, during business hours. No one knows how or if they are going to actually enforce this. Cost of gas is insane, Joe doesn't care about the workers. Or the work for that matter. It's obvious this is a soft layoff, they have made a bunch of people quit. Their internal design agency is falling apart, lots of people have quit, not only because of return to office but because of the toxic politics, favoritism, and lack of direction and accountability. Mediocre workers are allowed to keep their jobs ONLY because of their ability to put their bodies in a chair and work in-person. The other relocation option HR gave besides Chicago was Peoria. No one wants to live in Peoria for any reason whatsoever, be for real.
