Pros
Manager actually cares about nurses passionately, overall most staff and providers are great and easy to work with, patient population is overall receptive and respectful to nursing/healthcare staff.
Cons
Pay is substandard, float too often, pay raises lowered and are no longer merit based (low flat 1.5% raise for all nursing staff, no opportunity for more). Monetary benefits for tuition reimbursement are low compared to other area hospitals and no loan assistance at all, unlike other area hospitals. Current merger with DH seems to be driving budget constraints which are directly impacting nurses.
