Pros
Individual departments and unit/department managers can be wonderful, so if you are willing to put up with the cons to have a good working environment it could be worth it.
Cons
Administration is disconnected or will want something implemented but provide no direction - you have to have a director who can step up to this. Salary is below average (at least for non-clinical staff), the financial advisor they had come in stated "how do you live on that"
