Very autocratic. Not a very collaborative place. The admin/HR departments are very inefficient. The IT department is pretty much antiquated. The research enetrprise can occasionally be a bit disappointing and is not taken seriously by peers in the field. It's all about who knows who and who you can please and keep on your side. However, it's the same news at most other large organizations and hospital based insititutions. Only the top well-known scientists are recuited and get the best advantages, while the smaller ones are generally ignored.
