Pros
Mostly good affable people in the true "get the job done" working segment. Many that have been there many years wanting to make company more successful. Hard to get those spots with good managers as they are sought after and very obvious.
Cons
Cross-functional business training leading to some really terrible managers that are blindly leading that have no idea what they are doing - completely spinning wheels - micro-managers or worse, don't care; a free for all in some areas. Overspending in certain areas is apparent and confusing how it is not noticed or allowed. Some people never come to work, or start and immediately take a several week vacation, others work all the time. Work ethic doesn't seem to have a impact on one's success with company/review status or how people are treated as valued employees. Many mixed signals and a few bad managers allowed to continue poor management tactics is hard to watch or work around.
