Pros

Offers a lot of hands on experience. Awesome co-workers!

Cons

They expect you to work on your days off when it’s busy and then they cut your schedule like crazy when it’s slow. It’s really hard to make a living when your paychecks aren’t consistent. Plus the pay is really low for the amount of work you have to do.

Celerion Response

Thank you for your response. I was pleased to read that you felt you gained some good experience during your 3 years with Celerion and that you enjoyed working alongside your co-workers. It is unfortunate if you felt that we were not offering promotion opportunities. Year to date we have had more than 50 employees move into different positions across the organization based on their experience. With regard to participants, it is correct that the participants in our studies are very important to Celerion’s success. However, we do expect a level of courtesy and professionalism from them. If any employee feels that they have been mistreated by a participant there are processes in place to ensure these concerns are escalated and investigated. Andrew Stringer - Exec. Pros

Serves as a decent place to get baseline industry experience on your resume before moving elsewhere. The direct team leads and peer-level colleagues are understanding and pleasant to work with.

Cons

Client-facing demands combined with aggressive study timelines often lead to heavy workloads and long hours.Resourcing can be tight, meaning PMs frequently have to act as both strategic leaders and administrative coordinators. Quarterly updates are disconnected always touting quarter after quarter/ year after year revenue records while running their staff into burnout with the mentality of less is more or better yet "scalability"
