      Pros

      Friendly and quite young staff, smart and professional colleagues, good chance to learn and okay salary for a journalism role. Organised some fun events.

      Cons

      You're mainly writing for the legal sector, which I didn't find motivating and can be rather dry. I was let go quite early on in the role and, personally, I don't think the HR staff or my editor handled it well. As a trainee, I think they could have given me more direction and empathy.

      Pros

      Everyone here is incredibly friendly and willing to help one another. Great place to build relationships and have not experienced a better work/life balance at any previous employer. They encourage and support constant personal and professional growth.

      Cons

      Some of the support team and finance functions are based in the U.K. so the time difference can be frustrating at times.
