Pros

Subject matter can be interesting.

Cons

Disappointing to witness colleagues feel forced out or unsupported, particularly women and people of colour. Very poor accountability culture, senior leaders (lifers) are often protected, even when patterns of inappropriate behaviour are raised. HR can feel more aligned with management than with employee well-being. Inclusion is performative. There is limited career progression or development support, especially for underrepresented staff. A lack of psychological safety. Difficult to raise concerns without facing defensiveness and protectionism.

Pros

Everyone here is incredibly friendly and willing to help one another. Great place to build relationships and have not experienced a better work/life balance at any previous employer. They encourage and support constant personal and professional growth.

Cons

Some of the support team and finance functions are based in the U.K. so the time difference can be frustrating at times.
