Pros
CEI provides a wonderful service for Low income seniors. The seniors give very high ratings for the services that are provided. All staff are committed to the mission of the organization, including hourly, exempt, and management. I found this to be one of the most rewarding employment experiences of my career. This transformation has also resulted in better benefits and wages for staff.
Cons
The organization has been going through major transformation for the past few years. The amount of change makes it difficult for staff at times. However, the transformation is what makes it an exciting place to work. Seeing the results, which translate into better and more services for seniors as well as better benefits and wages for staff is what makes it a rewarding experience. There are long term staff who are not happy with the change.
