Pros
Great leadership and mission. I feel that the change to employee focused practices and policies have really raised my moral through some tough years. The drive to make insurance affordable and that they continue to look toward making family plans better, even though the are still expensive. Striving toward new ways of helping employees is seen by all of us.
Cons
Due to being a non for-profit program with a 5-year contract, we are very limited to raises. We understand our funding source is a state contract but it makes it difficult watching other programs get raises or know that the state is raising the pay for provider in our program significantly. Due to being a SPOE and secluded from the larger company, career opportunities are limited.
