Company was a forward thinking pioneer in hybrid telecommute work. This boosted productivity immensely as well as employee morale. Company had unbeatable work / life balance. Even though the pay was just decent, CenterPoint was known as a "lifer" company since it was stable, had amazing work / life balance, telecommute work, and no one wanted to leave. In the past year or so, with new leadership, everything I just talked about is gone. We now have next to no work / life balance, many are trying to leave, and morale is at all time low. After a decade of hybrid telecommute work, and at the height of Delta Variant Covid, it was decided that everyone needs to be in office. Why? We still have not gotten an answer to this. No one knows.
