Pros
Dedication and hard work pay off. I've been promoted twice in two years and my salary has increased by 30% in three years. Definitely a company that promotes from within.
Cons
Vacation/sick time comes out of the same bank, this was not explained well when I was hired. I was told I would have X amount of days for paid time off, I was not told that number of days was for sick time and vacation time combined.
