Pros

I actually worked in a group that knew what they were doing and was able to contribute as an actual team. This was one of the best teams I was able to work for. Very productive and fast in getting assignments and answers done while we waited for the other side to get us what we needed, but we had to fight with the inexperienced team across the country and teach them how to manage the FLOW of things. Communication is important. Apparently L.A. left out their testbed step child.

Cons

Wow, after buying us last year they had no idea what they were getting into. Such a learning curve for them they broke connections all over the place and they wonder why it took so long to get things done. Making changes in a production environment is the number 1 entry level rookie mistake you could ever make. And they wonder why they lost so much money. Because L.A.s non-communication skills and interruptions should not reflect the outages in the Plantation office. In L.A . they're rated so highly but this Plantation office Buyout became a test bed step child sandbox. The culture between the two companies is VERY DIFFERENT and to understand a production environment like this takes a lot of planning and maintenance. The excuse they made in the conference room about miscalculations is disappointing. The way the whole group was exited was demeaning. LA touts all the benefits they have in their home office but they haven't invested in the Plantation office inner workings. Maybe they should cut back on some of their expenses and focus on their employees before they make any more miscalculations. Hearing about all the trips and amenities they expensed could have saved jobs. Overall, don't bother as they laid off the key people who actually plugged the holes in a sinking ship that's now pointing up. This place was better before the buyout.

Pros

The hourly rate here is decent

Cons

They've laid off quite a few employees from 2 depts already, changed their employee handbook last week & are now firing new hires fresh out of training. Job security doesn't look promising.
