Pros
A lot of parts of this job were very fun. I felt like I was helping make a difference in the community.
Cons
While working at this company, I felt as though it was being communicated to me that I did not have a right to determine what specialty I wanted to focus in; Employees in the company appeared to be choosing a specialty for me; even when I clearly stated this was not what I wished to pursue the company continued to pursue this alternate route and ignored my requests I believe an individual in this country should be allowed to choose their own specialty. Sharing the workload is one thing. One employee being forced into a specialty despite requests to not do so, when everyone else does not want to and the one employee is forced to take on the workload that everyone else does not want, is a serious concern and should not be tolerated. I would rather not be employed than be treated this way. Upper-level management makes it very clear that it is unacceptable for employees to tell superiors no, that they do not want to do something or anything. Employees are not allowed to disagree. It is not an atmosphere that feels calm, relaxing, certainly not accepting, and is just not a generally positive environment.
