Pros

Flexibility. The only pro I can think of aside from the staff I work with (and the clients) is this job is very flexible! You can adjust your schedule to whatever you need to do during the day.

Cons

The biggest con is pay. You work SO HARD and are constantly multitasking.. It's one thing to work a job where you "go, go, go" all day long, but to work a job where it's "go, go, go" using your brain, which uses the most energy is mentally draining. You problem solve when you counsel, when clients cancel and you're scrambling to figure out who you can see to replace that person, making your own schedule, calling all the parents, figuring out how many hours of service you've billed for the week. It's just a lot. Not getting paid much makes it feel not worth it many days. Especially when you don't get raises or every few years when do give raises, they are small.

Pros

Exceptional hiring and on-boarding practices; Provided equipment and an amazing training; Competitive pay and optional overtime; Regular professional development; Overall, I had such a positive experience.

Cons

Many of us were laid off after (government) funding was eliminated. The lay off process was not handled well.

Pros

Overtime. Coworkers are the most enjoyable part.

Cons

Supervisors do not listen. You do not get a response to emails. Are belittled in the hallway about personal mentality where other coworkers can hear. No FIRE safety standards up to date!! No care for staff mental or physical wellbeing. No urgency when exposed to bodily fluids.
