Pros

The people the organization nominally serves deserve health care

Cons

High value placed on embodying Protestant work ethic ideas-as in, *appearing* to be busy, staying late into the evening, fielding calls on time off. There is a very adversarial relationship between management and lower level employees that actively detracts from that "noble purpose" no one shuts up about. Very obvious sexual harassment took place, and rather than firing the single individual perpetuating this harassment, management cracked down on the victim of the harassment and any colleagues who appeared to be supporting this person. The person perpetuating the harassment did her manager's tasks for her. Other employees were well aware this was the case, and the woman was free to harass a colleague at work and home for years. At a required work retreat, The Devil Wears Prada was screened while one of the managers passed out a crowd-source site article about lessons the movie teaches for surviving a hostile work environment. One of the items on the employee review checklist is that you "remain calm when provoked." When I left, a fellow therapist told me, "I didn't want to scare you while you were working at Centerstone, but I keep hearing about how unsafe it is." He was talking about physical safety of their employees, by the way. The C Suite is well aware of the above. They don't care. Good luck with your application.

Pros

Overtime. Coworkers are the most enjoyable part.

Cons

Supervisors do not listen. You do not get a response to emails. Are belittled in the hallway about personal mentality where other coworkers can hear. No FIRE safety standards up to date!! No care for staff mental or physical wellbeing. No urgency when exposed to bodily fluids.
