CentralReach invested in education platforms about two and a half years ago. In that time, the education department has had three different managers (with the most recent being the low point) and an absolute decline in culture and morale. They continually lay off employees with no warning and reason. They have laid off employees who were in their roles for 3 months and 5 months, never being given a real chance to succeed; they have laid off their top sales performer for the past three years; they have laid off employees who simply expressed concerns with the return to office policy and who questioned the idea of shifting to a more "in person" sales approach. I'm sure they will respond to this by saying personnel decisions like this are difficult, but that is hard to believe when they seemingly happen at random and every month.
Those of us who were still on the team were left confused, directionless, and feeling no stability in our jobs. It is an awful culture to walk into everyday, and one that has no active plan on improving anytime soon.
If you feel the need to apply, have a backup plan both before and after being hired.
