Pros

Decent number of volunteer opportunities Annual bonus Bring in free food if you have big meetings Parking is conveniant 401K matching

Cons

The CIO doesn't like team members that aren't like him, and used private IMs to fire a quarter of the IT staff who just so happen to be the most diverse group in the company. No privacy, no trust, little respect. Nepotism. Former VP's son was hired for IT with no skills for the job, got a company car, credit card and able to work from home and he didn't do a thing. Pay is low as they try to bleed their employees dry. Work from home is allowed for some seasoned employees(favorites) and all new employees, but not everyone, even if they have the same job titles. Micromanagement is encouraged and flourishes here. Little to no trust All of leadership is white, mediocre white people are promoted constantly, brown nosing gets your further here than actually doing a good job They think they're in the forefront of technology, but all the processes and most people area stuck in the past

Pros

I honestly can't think of any.

Cons

I worked in a corporate role at Centuri and honestly the biggest issue was leadership and culture. There was no focus on efficiency or improving processes. Work was often made harder than it needed to be because management resisted change and did not seem interested in modernizing how things were done. It felt like people spent more time working around broken systems than actually fixing them. Management also lacked basic leadership skills. I never had a goal setting meeting, performance evaluation, or meaningful coaching conversation the entire time I was there. There was very little investment in employee development or career growth. The environment became draining because negativity came from the top down. There was constant complaining about employees, other departments, workloads, and leadership decisions, but very little accountability or action to improve anything. Culture clearly was not a priority. The experience itself helped me build resilience, but I would not recommend the company to someone looking for strong leadership, mentorship, or organization.
