Pros

Working with the most vulnerable population

Cons

Salaried employees are docked PTO/money if they don't work a minimum of 80 hours bi-weekly, but are not compensated when working over. There is no room for advancement without a PhD or PsyD, professional clinical staff are paid slightly more than activity techs, zero flexibility, nursing is favored by the HSA due to her background in nursing. I could go on but I am busy applying elsewhere.

Pros

Excellent company to work for—I’ve been with the organization for 10 years. Strong leadership, great team collaboration, and a genuine focus on supporting team members. Great benefits and compensation, and leadership consistently seeks out our input and suggestions.

Cons

I have nothing negative to say about this company

Pros

Helping others- Other staff was great. Salary.

Cons

Prison staff at Hayes were not concerned about the safety of inmates or MH Staff. Program manager avoided doing her job- Would scream at other employees. Work wasn't always divided evenly. Some employees were considered favorites. Have to be tough skinned to deal with inmates.
