Pros

They buy lunch every other week

Cons

My experience with this company was disappointing due to several systemic issues. It operates very much like a junior varsity (JV) organization, with only a handful of managers having any meaningful higher education or prior leadership experience. This lack of qualified leadership reflects in nearly every area of the business. The ethical standards are questionable at best—there were multiple instances where transparency was lacking, particularly regarding the commission structure, which was never formally disclosed. I only learned about how it worked through informal conversations with colleagues, which is unacceptable in a professional environment. There is no defined improvement process or investment in long-term growth for employees. The company appears to focus solely on short-term results, with little regard for employee development, training, or retention. Additionally, there's a complete absence of data-driven decision-making. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are either misunderstood or entirely ignored due to a general lack of knowledge around analytics, which ultimately stunts both individual and organizational growth. I would not recommend this company to professionals seeking a stable, growth-oriented, and ethically sound workplace.

Pros

Work from home flexibility. Health Care was decent.

Cons

Until about 2025 things were looking good at Century but once the first round of unexpected layoffs happened last September due to "restructuring" we BULs (business unit leaders) were told our jobs were safe and that layoffs wouldn't happen again. Fast forward to February 2026 and there was another round of layoffs (once again unannounced) despite C-Suite managers saying this wouldn't happen. The truly sad part is that they made a point to layoff several employees who have been with the company for over 4 to 5 years making their dedication to the company a ticking time bomb. If you stayed long enough over the years you made decent pay. However that no longer matters since they actively laid off all the tenured employees who actually stuck with the company over the years.
