Unfortunate Experience - Customer Service Representative Century Services Employee Review

Pros

Pros once included: tight knit culture, growth & opportunities to make a difference.

Cons

The company direction changed drastically. On top of a dingy and tight office environment, management prioritizes nepotism, drama & shady ways in trying to increase revenue. This is not a fun or even a productive place of work. Carefully think through coming on with this firm.

Hello, Thank you for your feedback, and we are sincerely sorry to hear that your experience as a Client Support Representative did not meet the standards we have in place. There have been moments over the last couple of years within our organization where pivoting was necessary especially with a new unknown landscape where COVID-19 continues to be a factor. We try and make the best decisions that we can with the available information we have at hand. Nonetheless, we may fall short at times, and as a growing organization, these are some growing pains that will be addressed. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention, and we will share this feedback to our Management team to continue providing support to the team and develop them as best as we can. We wish you the best in your future endeavors!

Pros

Work from home flexibility. Health Care was decent.

Cons

Until about 2025 things were looking good at Century but once the first round of unexpected layoffs happened last September due to "restructuring" we BULs (business unit leaders) were told our jobs were safe and that layoffs wouldn't happen again. Fast forward to February 2026 and there was another round of layoffs (once again unannounced) despite C-Suite managers saying this wouldn't happen. The truly sad part is that they made a point to layoff several employees who have been with the company for over 4 to 5 years making their dedication to the company a ticking time bomb. If you stayed long enough over the years you made decent pay. However that no longer matters since they actively laid off all the tenured employees who actually stuck with the company over the years.
