Pros

Pros: The paycheck was incredible and the actual product itself is a solution that genuinely helps the client. If you keep your head down, tune out the noise and lock yourself in a room to focus, you'll be able to succeed.

Cons

Cons: Inappropriate relationship between HR and Sales leadership, blurring the lines between professional and personal. Witnessed multiple discriminatory hiring decisions (based off race, gender identity, sexual orientation), statements (to myself and others directly) and roadblocks (medical, racial) due to this relationship. If you are a BIPOC employee, reminder that you're checking a box, not truly valued. The "steps" taken are a reaction to the past, not being "proactive" for the future, whether that's a "promotion" or a "company initiative".

Our headquarters is located in New York City, one of the most beautiful and diverse cities in the United States, and we make it a point to celebrate diversity, equity, and inclusion here at Century Services on a regular basis and are proud that 50% of our Management team is comprised of People of Color and 41% is Women-Led! Until about 2025 things were looking good at Century but once the first round of unexpected layoffs happened last September due to "restructuring" we BULs (business unit leaders) were told our jobs were safe and that layoffs wouldn't happen again. Fast forward to February 2026 and there was another round of layoffs (once again unannounced) despite C-Suite managers saying this wouldn't happen. The truly sad part is that they made a point to layoff several employees who have been with the company for over 4 to 5 years making their dedication to the company a ticking time bomb. If you stayed long enough over the years you made decent pay. However that no longer matters since they actively laid off all the tenured employees who actually stuck with the company over the years.
