when I joined Cerence India, my assumption was that it was a high tech company with strong leadership, tech-savvy culture etc etc.
I was shocked to see people on leadership position [Pune office] had no technology background and funny part was they were not even aware of name of the products, let alone the details.
the director of professional services is one of most incompetent person one could imagine. he was pulled without interview by his old colleague and now a complete bozo culture developed within Cerence India. All skilled and old employees left this company and they left with lots of grievances.
surprisingly, the company recently fired their HR manager, who was another reason many people left the company. HR was hired from manufacturing co. with no experience on how IT company works. People celebrated when she was fired !!
Not all but mostly the people not getting job anywhere are continuing with Cerence India. If you want to gauge the future of this company, check it's stock price and it's performance over last 2 years.
