Pros
Well funded by Unit 4 and Salesforce so an element of job security. Low pressure environment (at least in development) with a relaxed atmosphere and some good people who're always willing to help out.
Cons
Development is run like a big company with slow decision making, poor communication, lots of time spent on documenting, having meetings, minimising perceived risks and doing things the same way because that's how it's always been. Management dictate how things are done and there is no will to listen to different ideas and more modern ways of working. No accountability and nobody bats an eyelid if deadlines are missed. Suited to people who are happy to keep their heads down, toe the line and do as they're told. Completely different on the sales side - which is the true focus and driver of the company.
