Pros

Courses are interesting to teach, and the platform and design for the online curriculum best in class.

Cons

Faculty are treated horribly. "Culture of Care" only applies to doing whatever it takes to retain students so they can progress through the program. Chamberlain is FULLY a for-profit school. "Care" means getting as many students through the program as possible through academic leniency, and substandard rigor. The pay for faculty is horrific. The two week paycheck for someone with a PhD teaching a class of close to forty students is $600.00. We could make more working at Target. We never know how many classes we'll receive, so there is zero financial stability. There is no consistency in terms of courses offered, therefore, financially it's difficult to plan One term you may receive two courses, the next term none, regardless of how long you've been working there, or your course evaluations. If you reach out to ask for more classes you are chastised. Really? We are making around minimum wage with doctoral degrees. Does that really sound like a culture of care? Finally, the amount of work you're expected to do for the pay is unrealistic. Nonstop changes and communications, each geared towards doing more to improve student retention.

Pros

I've spent many years at Chamberlain, and one of the main reasons is the opportunity for growth. If you're looking for a career rather than just a job, there are clear advancement opportunities at both the enrollment representative and leadership levels. The culture is performance-driven but also coaching-focused, with strong investment in training and development. Chamberlain has strong brand recognition, which makes conversations with prospective students meaningful and rewarding.

Cons

The pace can be demanding during peak enrollment periods, and success requires adaptability as priorities and processes evolve.
