Pros
Good wine. Nice grounds. A fair amount of decent people. Lots of camaraderie between people due to commiseration over mutual problems (see below).
Cons
The corporate culture is poisonous. Management loves scapegoats, because they tend to be a lot easier than fixing problems - this is a big one. People put an inordinate amount of effort into their day simply to avoid being unfairly blamed for anything. Management also prefers to get people in trouble for not getting things done quickly, because it is a lot easier than giving people enough time to do things correctly. Lies and backstabbing - some peoples' behavior was eerily similar to 13-year-olds in middle school, who feel it is okay to treat people badly, because they are "technically not doing anything wrong," or it cannot be proved beyond hearsay. As for wine, aside from the reserves and such, production numbers often trump quality concerns, although no manager will ever admit it. As you can probably guess, morale was awful.
