Pros
Some calls really make your day when clients are appreciative of your assistance. The use of salesforce is very organized and easy to navigate.
Cons
There is no trust. You are literally spied on to ensure you are working. My supervisor told me once that they can see what I am doing REAL TIME at ALL TIMES. There are unrealistic metrics that are only met if you work over your scheduled shift times. When trainings are due, you are encouraged to complete them outside of your working hours since "we are salaried". This is a mental health company and they destroyed my mental health. They guilt trip you by saying things like "you are saving lives" to justify their ridiculous metrics. They have unrealistic checklists for calls that if followed will make each call between 20-30 minutes, but encourage you to keep calls under 12 to "maximize" your call volume and then berate you if you miss anything due to trying to get as many calls as possible. They micromanage so much you are expected to be on camera at all times for meetings and have to announce if you are stepping away to the bathroom like a child. I should be able to cut off my camera for 5 minutes to use the restroom without having to announce it in a chat so they know why. If this was an in person meeting, I would not raise my hand to go to the restroom, I'd just get up and go. So why is it different just because it is remote? They are quick to point out the bad but never the good. They'll listen to and track everything but only address you when there is a mistake or issue. This job gave me clinically diagnosed depression and anxiety and I am now on anti depression and anti anxiety medication and I could not even share this because they would not care.
