Pros

-Generous salaries and bonus structures. 401K 1-1 matching is fantastic, once you're around long enough to accrue it. -Smart people who are kind and generally knowledgeable about their little niche of finance. -Weekly company-wide meetings are nice, if a bit empty in terms of actual content.

Cons

-Disorganized company. Lack of hierarchy sounds cool but in reality just means no one knows who is doing what. -The "Chatham Way" is to start and end meetings late. This same ideology guides the information (or lack thereof) that is disseminated to ground-level staff. -Staff is disproportionately family-men, ex-military, and religious folks. Almost entirely white. In a semi-diverse little town, it's startling. -Speaking of the town, Kennett Square is in the middle of nowhere! -Frat-like culture among the predominately-male younger employees. -10+ hours staring at a computer doing repetitive basic tasks is often due to poor communication between business and tech divisions (and the divide is deep). -Little variety or room for growth; prepare for repetitious niche work.

Pros

There is a lot of investment in new technologies, especially AI. As AI continues to evolve, Chatham is investing in employees by giving us opportunities to learn and use these tools so we can stay ahead of the curve and be leaders in the industry. That's a huge plus. The people here are also unmatched. I've worked at other companies, and I can honestly say this is the best culture I've been a part of. The team is supportive, collaborative, and genuinely cares about each other's success.

Cons

I would not change a thing,

Pros

One of the best parts about working at this company is the opportunity to learn across different functions and gain exposure to a wide range of projects. The environment allows employees to develop both technical and professional skills quickly, especially through collaboration with experienced team members. I also appreciate the fast-paced culture, which encourages growth, adaptability, and problem-solving. The experience has helped me better understand operations, teamwork, and how different parts of the business work together.

Cons

One challenge of working at the company is that there can sometimes be a heavy amount of operational and repetitive work, which may limit opportunities to focus on more strategic or analytical projects. In certain situations, processes and responsibilities could be better organized to improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary workload. Communication between teams can also occasionally be unclear, leading to duplicated efforts or delays. Improving workflow structure could help employees be more productive and engaged.
